Focus Group Research
Center for Practical Management takes a disciplined approach to surveying audiences using focus group tools and techniques. Our experienced facilitators manage engagements from start to finish. We offer customizable focus group solutions for internal and external (employee or customer) research.
For the engagement, we will initiate a stakeholder discussion to gain consensus and prioritize outcomes. We offer industry best practices for determining the best course of deployment for our clients’ focus group research. Outcomes of the focus group sessions are presented with specific recommendations in an Executive Review session, including management activities for supporting success in achieving the engagement goals.
Tools used in the engagement are made available to clients, for license-free use.
Program inclusions: One or two full days of focus group sessions, based on scope of engagement, and an Executive Review of findings and recommendations. Participant stipends may be delivered by Center for Practical Management and billed to client, or paid directly by client.
Mystery Shop Surveys
Our popular Mystery Shopper Program delivers an impactful snapshot into your customers’ shopping experience with you. We manage recruitment of customers as trained shoppers to ensure this survey solution provides organizations with insightful qualitative and quantitative feedback on the customer experience.
Experienced facilitators initiate the stakeholder discussion phase to gain consensus and to prioritize outcomes. We coordinate two sets of shopper surveys—one as a Benchmark Shop and a second as an Impact Shop. Outcomes of the Mystery Shopper Survey sessions are presented by retail location, where applicable, and delivered with specific recommendations. Options for prospect shopping are also available.

Program inclusions: This solution features recruitment of shoppers, facilitation of shopper training, two shop events approximately 4 to 6 months apart, each followed by an Executive Review Session. Participant stipends may be delivered by Center for Practical Management and billed to client, or paid directly by client.
Employee Polling
Center for Practical Management provides employee polling services desired to collect immediate feedback on timely topics, concerns. We recommended polling ahead of organizational change and between formal employee engagement surveys. Our employee polling allows for secure and confidential collection of employee feedback.
Expert survey facilitators initiate the stakeholder discussion phase to gain consensus and to prioritize outcomes. We design, develop and deploy a custom poll for each client. Polling results and recommendations are presented virtually in an Executive Review. Note, an onsite delivery with an optional Action Planning Workshop is also available.
Program inclusions: This solution features design, development and deployment of a custom employee poll(s), plus an Executive Review of findings and recommendations. Raw data exports are transferred to our clients.
